The care center is a building complex located in the North part of Bucharest, Romania. The facility is set in almost 50.000 m2 of ground few kilometers away from Bucharest and comprises: a main residential building dedicated to the care of disabled orphans and elder people,   an   administrative   building,   a   church,   a   large   greenhouse,   several   outbuildings (thermal power plant, water management unit) and a multi-purpose room (conference room, meetings, sport), where it is foreseen the installation of ETICs-like panels. The main building has an area of 2.055 m2.

Pietre Edil performed the installation of the eco-friendly insulating façade panels in Don Orione Residential Care Center, from 14th October 2018 untill 22nd October 2018, in Voluntari (Romania).

The climate in Romania represents a central continental zone. In this climatic contest the performance of the insulating system has been evaluated.

In the site a specific monitoring system permitted to evaluate the efficiency of the innovations installed in terms of insulation effects (energy performance) and improvement of indoor conditions (comfort) in another climatic region.
